Phillip Cronje is ‘dad’ to all the rescued chimps at Chimpanzee Eden. Formerly the curator of primates and reptiles at the Johannesburg Zoo, Philip relocated to Nelspruit two years ago when the Sanctuary was built.
His incredible knowledge and years of experience with great apes is about to be further boosted – with a professional PhD, sponsored by The Da Vinci Institute, a post-graduate university in
Modderfontein, Johannesburg.
Philip will complete his PhD ‘on the job’.
