Appeal for
funding
When
JGI SA Chimpanzee Eden was launched in 2006, we
knew there was an enormous need for another
sanctuary in southern Africa. However, we
underestimated just how enormous that need was.
We have grown far more dramatically than we
ever anticipated and are already providing
sanctuary for 19 chimps.

Right now there are nine babies in the Sudan,
two chimps in Angola, one in the Central African
Republic and one in Ghana that all need a haven.
Sleeping quarters appeal
We
are constructing sleeping quarters to serve the
completed third enclosure as well as two more to
be built in the near future.
Total cost of this project will be in the region
of R300 000 and we are appealing for a sponsor.
Please pass this message on to anyone who may be
able to help. JGI SA would be happy to give
naming rights for the new quarters to our
sponsors.
