If,
after confirming, the client wishes to amend the booking in any way, they may
do so. However, should African Duet Travel start incurring costs due to the
amendment, we reserve the right to charge an amendment fee of ZAR250.00 per
amendment. All amendments must be received in writing. A booking that is
postponed until a later date is considered to be a cancellation and
cancellation fees will be charged accordingly.
CANCELLATION
Cancellation
of any booking must be received in writing. If a booking is cancelled the
following cancellation fees will apply:

If 6 weeks or more notice is given:
25% of the total fare (deposit) is charged.
Less than six weeks notice:
60% of the total fare is charged.
Less than four weeks notice:
80% of the total fare is charged.
Less than two weeks notice:
100% of the total fare is charged.
c] African Duet Travel reserves the right to amend
our cancellation policy according to the
suppliers used and/or special events.
c] For
last minute bookings, i.e. 2 weeks prior to departure, 100% cancellation
fees will apply should these bookings cancel.
d]
If, for any reason whatsoever, the client fails to appear at the
reserved place of accommodation or transportation etc., arrive later or leave
earlier, no reimbursement will be considered.
Please
note that African Duet Travel cancellation policy will be enforced regardless
of the principles cancellation policies.
PRICE
The
price is valid at the time of booking, but until such time as full and final
payment has been received the price is dependent on currency fluctuations,
accommodation and airfare increases. The price should be reconfirmed prior to
final payment being made. In the unlikely event of there being an unscheduled
extension of a booking caused by flight delays, bad weather, strikes or any
other matter beyond our control, it is understood that expenses incurred will
be for the clients account.
FINAL
PAYMENT - F.I.T’S
Full
and final payment is due 6 weeks (45 days) prior to date of travel. Payment is
to be made to African Duet Travel either by cash, cheque credit card or direct
deposit. Proof of payment must be faxed through.
FINAL
PAYMENT - GROUPS
A
20% deposit is required 90 days prior to the group’s arrival. The balance of
payment is due 45 days prior to travel date.
PRE-PAYMENT
Where
suppliers require pre-payment, African Duet Travel must have payment prior to
the date set by the supplier. The client will be advised of the said date and
invoiced accordingly. Should we not receive payment timeously we reserve the
right to automatically cancel the reservation.
CREDIT
CARDS
African
Duet Travel will accept credit card payments, on the basis that a full PAYMENT
AUTHORISATION FORM AND REQUESTED DOCUMENTATION HAS BEEN COMPLETED AND SUPPLIED
IN FULL. No exceptions will be made.
DOCUMENTS
No
documents will be issued or handed over unless full payment has been received.

SERVICE
FEES & TOURISM LEVIES
Should
African Duet Travel be required to courier documents, any costs incurred will
be for the client’s accounts. Should
African Duet Travel have to issue tickets on a PTA basis, a service fee of
ZAR250.00 will be charged for the clients account.
A
tourism levy of R3.42 per person will be added to all invoices.
INSURANCE
It
is strongly recommended that all customers take out comprehensive travel
insurance including full medical cover, as well as cancellation and
curtailment cover.
PASSPORTS
AND VISAS
The
onus is on the client to ensure that their passports are valid for travel and
that they are in possession of valid visas for all countries being visited,
and that all necessary health certificates for these destinations are in
order.
LIABILITY
AND INDEMNITY
African
Duet Travel, their employees and affiliates do not accept any responsibility
for any client or dependant thereof in respect of any loss, damage or theft of
property for the duration of the tour.
The
client therefore indemnifies AFRICAN DUET TRAVEL, from any liabilities arising
from the client failing to ensure the validity of the above criteria.
